About Us:
Homeward Bound Professional Animal Care, LLC has been providing top-notch dog walking services in the Lakes Region since 2011. With over 35,000 visits completed, we treat every pup like family.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for dog walkers tojoin our teaminGilford, Laconia, Belmont, and Meredith. Walks take place between10 AM – 3 PM, Monday through Friday, with availability for2-5 days per week.
Who We’re Looking For:
You’re a great fit if you:
Love dogsand have experience handling them.
Havereliable transportation—this role requires a lot of driving.
Own asmartphonewith data and a camera.
Havedaily access to email and the internet.
Canpass a background check and drug test.
Arephysically fit, able to lift 45 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles per day.
Feel comfortable walkingdogs of all sizes and energy levels(including strong leash pullers).
Havegreat time management skillsand can stick to a schedule.
Communicate well—both with clients (writing clear pet care journals) and with our team.
Areresponsible, observant, patient, and professional.
Can workoccasional holidaysif needed.
Can commit to at least6 monthswith us.
Job Responsibilities:
Walk dogs safely on-leash in all weather conditions.
Keep client homes secure while pets are in your care.
Use ouronline scheduling systemto track visits and enter pet care journals.
Receivemileage reimbursementin addition to hourly pay and client tips.
Getpaid trainingto ensure you’re set up for success.
