Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and the ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for pets in our facility. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for the daily care of animals, ensuring their well-being, and assisting with various tasks related to their health and comfort. Shifts we are looking to fill are Monday – Saturday 8-11am & 3-6pm. Sunday 8-9:30am & 3-6pm. We are flixible with hour days, am/pm shifts and rotating weekends.

Maintain cleanliness in kennels and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or management.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their animals’ needs and behaviors.
Handle animals safely and humanely, ensuring their comfort and security at all times.
Participate in training programs to enhance skills in animal handling and care.
Requirements
Knowledge of animal restraint techniques is a plus.
Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and team members.
Experience as a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician is advantageous.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Must be physically capable of lifting and handling animals of various sizes.
A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential.
