Full Job Description
Wiggle Butts and Waggin’ Tails is a small individualized dog daycare and boarding facility located just outside of Traverse City, MI. We provide top quality care for dogs in a clean, safe and engaging environment. We prioritize enrichment, playtime, and lots of pets.
Hours: 15-20 hours per week, including weekend shifts
Hours will vary and can start as early as 6am or as late as 9:30pm
Compensation: Pay rate will reflect skills and qualifications
What You’ll Do:
Engage and play with dogs in both daycare and boarding environments both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Provide food, water, and medication as needed
Perform cleaning duties to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming kennel
This includes, but is not limited to, picking up poop, vacuuming dog hair, sanitizing kennels & play areas, washing dishes, cleaning up accidents or messes
Observe and monitor dog behavior
Work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team
Required Skills:
A true love for dogs of all breeds and sizes
Dependable, self-motivated, hard worker, quick leaner, and able to work with minimal supervision
Comfortable with physical activity and cleaning tasks
Prior experience working with dogs is required
