Position: Dog Hotel Attendant (Dallas)
We’re Yardstick, a boutique dog hotel launched in Nashville that is coming to Dallas in February 2025. Our suites-only concept aims to reimagine dog hospitality by offering more personalized care in a stress-free, elevated environment.
We are seeking full-time and part-time Dog Hosts who will provide an elevated experience to all of our customers and their pets. Applicants must be passionate about dogs, able to provide exceptional customer service, and be excited to join a growing team.

What you’ll do
Supervise and engage with dogs during group play
Feed and administer medication to dogs
Perform general wellness checks throughout the day, and, if necessary, resolve dog behavior and/or health issues
Interface regularly with our customers before, during and after their dog’s stay
Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment
What’s required
High integrity, trustworthy and dependable
Excellent customer service and people skills
Strong organizational skills
Must be comfortable working around dogs of all sizes and breeds (prior experience in the pet services industry is a plus, but not required)
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
Available to work rotating nights, weekends and holidays — we are open 365 days a year
