Dog Daycare Playroom Team Member – Dogtopia of Waco
Are you passionate about dogs, hardworking, organized, and self-motivated? If so, this might be the perfect job for you! Become a Canine Coach, trained and certified to supervise large playgroups of active dogs and work with customers, furry friends, and team members to ensure safety and fun.
We offer part-time positions suitable for all experience levels, from entry-level (no prior dog experience required) to roles requiring more expertise. There is also an option to bring your personal dog to join the playgroups when all criteria are met.
Responsibilities:
Supervising safe and enjoyable play for dogs of all sizes and breeds in off-leash groups
Assisting with cleaning and other tasks as needed
Communicating effectively with team members, both orally and in writing
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and perform heavy cleaning tasks
Ensuring our standards of dog care and safety are maintained
Fostering a positive, growth-oriented team environment and maximizing fun
Qualifications:
Passion for animals and ability to positively interact with all dogs
Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including deep cleaning
Wearing an earpiece for communication
Positive attitude and demeanor at all times
Previous experience with dogs is a plus but not required
Reliable and punctual attendance
Flexible availability
Detail-oriented and strong multitasking skills
