Duties
- Supervise and monitor dogs during playtime, ensuring safe interactions and proper behavior management
- Assist with dog training activities to promote good manners and socialization skills
- Handle animals gently and confidently, using restraint techniques when necessary to ensure safety for pets and staff
- Clean kennels, cages, and common areas thoroughly to maintain a sanitized environment in accordance with pet care facility standards
- Perform pet grooming tasks such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming to keep animals comfortable and healthy
- Support pet boarding operations by feeding, watering, and providing basic care for animals in our facility
Requirements
- Prior daycare experience required
- must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet grooming practices is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or assisting with outdoor work tasks
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions during outdoor activities or cleaning routines
