Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, RELIABLE, and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. Looking for a hard working individual that can understand and follow task direction. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for dogs in our care. You will interact with pets and their owners. This position is ideal for individuals who love animals and have experience in animal handling and customer service.
This job is the closing position which entails handling boarding dogs and checking out daycare dogs. Need to be trustworthy, reliable, and willing to work.
Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment by regularly cleaning play areas, kennels, and equipment.
Monitor the behavior of dogs to identify any signs of stress or aggression, intervening as necessary.
Administer basic pet care tasks such as feeding and providing fresh water.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s behavior and any concerns that may arise.
Maintain facility cleanliness including cleaning poop, cutting grass, mopping areas, and other manual labor as needed.
Handle transfer of dogs to boarding areas and to owners to go home
Provide excellent customer service by welcoming clients and answering questions about services offered.
Cover weekends on occasion as needed.
Requirements
Reliable transportation.
Prior experience in animal handling or care is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Physical capability to lift and handle dogs of various sizes safely.
A passion for animals and commitment to providing high-quality care.
