Dog Daycare and Kennel Assistant Jobs in Cape Coral, FL at Tiki Tails Dog Resort
We are a daycare, boarding and grooming facility looking to bring on an energetic person who loves dogs. The position will be to evaluate the dogs in daycare and determining their needs and requirements to create a safe and fun setting for staff and the dog guests. We also prefer to hire people capable of cross training in all aspects of the business for future growth opportunities within our company. This will help when considering rate of pay.
-Initiating cleaning tasks
-Completing to do lists for the daycare each day
-Evaluating throughout the shift if all dogs seem healthy, safe and happy in their environment.
Requirements:
-Must be a “morning person” shifts may be required as early as 6:30am, and available for to occasionally work weekends
-RELIABLE transportation
-Punctual and dependable
-Able to walk/stand for 4-7 hours
Experience preferred:
Knowledge of basic training in dogs since you will need to work with behaviors that are unwanted at times which will require some redirecting of behavior knowledge.
Cleaning and kennel experience
Reception/Customer service experience a big PLUS when looking for growth!
Compensation and Benefits:
*Rate of pay is based on availability for shifts, experience, capability to perform job requirements and willingness to take on additional responsibilities. You are in control of your growth.
$13-$16/hr
