Role Description
The Breeder Partnerships Representative will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding dog breeders as brand partners and resellers for BetterWild Pets products. This role will manage the full lifecycle of breeder relationships, from initial outreach through contract negotiation, product education, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with direct outreach, relationship building, and closing partnership agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research high-quality dog breeders across target breeds and regions
- Conduct outreach to breeders via email, phone, and in-person meetings to introduce BetterWild partnership opportunities
- Present partnership benefits and product offerings to prospective breeders
- Negotiate partnership terms, pricing, and order volumes
- Manage contract execution and onboarding process for new partners
- Provide breeders with sales materials, product samples, and marketing support
- Maintain regular communication with active partners to ensure satisfaction
- Track partnership pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue generated
- Gather feedback from breeders to inform product development and marketing strategy
- Represent BetterWild at breed clubs, dog shows, and industry events as needed
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of B2B sales, business development, or partnership experience
- Demonstrated success closing partnerships or contracts with external organizations
- Strong research and prospecting skills with the ability to identify quality leads independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with rejection and able to maintain persistence in outreach
- Knowledge of or genuine interest in dog breeding, dog health, or the pet industry
- Ability to travel to meet breeders in person
- Self-motivated and able to manage sales pipeline independently
- Experience with CRM tools or sales tracking systems
