We have over 60 years of experience providing excellent services to over 800 community pharmacies, hospitals, doctors and veterinarians in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Our headquarters and a distribution center of over 60,000 square feet are located in the city of Caguas. We have a complete inventory of over 20,000 SKUs. We are seeking a highly qualified Director of Institutional Sales to join our team and drive the growth and success of our pharmaceutical and medical-surgical product sales. This role is critical in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives targeted at hospitals, clinics, veterinary practices, medical professionals, and specialized pharmacies.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement commercial strategies aimed at the growth and evolution of the company’s institutional market.
Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Lead and oversee the sales team, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded and that team members are motivated and performing effectively.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or complaints promptly and effectively, fostering long-term relationships with key clients.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Finance, Sales, or Business Administration
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in sales, preferably within the pharmaceutical or medical-surgical industry.
Completely Bilingual (Spanish and English). Reading ability is to write and speak in both languages at an advanced level.
Strong Computer proficiency: Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). Excellent Spreadsheet skills.
Knowledge of State, Federal and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
Availability for in-person work.
