Job Overview

Grizzly Trek is seeking Diamond Drillers for temporary positions supporting mineral exploration projects near Houston, BC and Greenwood, BC
. This role is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, motivated, and ready to work in remote field environments under changing weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

Operate diamond core drilling rigs and support equipment safely and efficiently.

Set up, monitor, and dismantle drill sites in off-grid or rugged terrain.

Perform daily maintenance checks and basic repairs on drill rigs and related equipment.

Log and recover high-quality core samples in accordance with project specifications.

Accurately complete daily shift reports, logs, and core handling tasks.

Follow all safety procedures and environmental guidelines on-site.

Communicate with supervisors and geological teams regarding drilling progress and conditions.

Qualifications:

Physically fit and capable of working long hours in remote and outdoor environments.

Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Required Ticket:

Standard First Aid with CPR/AED

Asset Tickets & Traits:

Chainsaw Safety Certification

Previous experience in diamond drilling or exploration fieldwork

Strong work ethic and willingness to work in challenging conditions

Work Environment:

Remote field work with exposure to varying terrain and weather conditions.

Extended shifts with potential for camp accommodations.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Required:

High-visibility PPE

CSA-approved steel-toed boots (rubber or leather)

Hard hat

Rain gear suitable for prolonged outdoor use
