Astha Feed Industries Ltd is looking for Deputy Manager/ Manager- Poultry/ Cattle Feed Sales
Job Description / Responsibility
Job Summary: To attain the sales target of the region by ensuring proper distribution of products and implementation of different sales and marketing activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Prepare an action plan to achieve the monthly sales target of the team and drive to achieve the target.
2. Monitor, manage, and motivate the sales personnel effectively to achieve their monthly sales target and resolve their queries.
3. Collect and share the competitor`s information regarding different policies, offers, and sales and marketing strategies with the supervisor to take necessary action where required.
4. Finalize the new dealer/sub-dealer to maximize sales and ensure compliance (relevant documents & infrastructure) for all.
5. Maintain good relationships with customers (both primary and secondary),resolve market-related problems, and take help from the technical service team if required.
6. Maintain cumulative database regarding team members` sales, area-wise market share, and database for the dealers and share the report when required.
7. Develop substitute leaders in the absence of the team leader and train the team members to improve their product knowledge and professional skills development.
8. Target and prepare a panel of potential dealers/sub-dealers who can replace current dealers instantly.
9. Share the idea/requirements of the seminar or market promotional activities and implement the same after approval.
10. Conduct regular farm and dealer visits to ensure they are fully informed about newly launched products and trade offers, collect market feedback, and report findings to the supervisor for strategic actions.
11. Monitor regional credit limits, track aging outstanding balances of dealers, and guide the team to ensure timely revenue collection.
12. Facilitate ensuring demo/model farms according to the people working under his supervision.
13. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
- Skills Required: Computer Literacy, Time Management, Communication and interpersonal skill, Analytical Skill, Negotiation Persuasion Skills, Team Management & Supervision , Collaboration and Teamwork, Sound Level Adjustment
Experience Requirements
- At least 6 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM),Poultry,Animal/Plant Breeding
