What your typical day will look like
- Oversee daily laboratory operations and ensure accurate testing of ash, water, and related samples
- Supervise water quality testing, monitor supplier compliance, and support operations with test results
- Maintain laboratory quality standards and ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, and other applicable standards
- Ensure equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and effective management of chemicals and laboratory consumables
What you need to succeed at this role
- B.Sc. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 4–6 years’ experience in power plant operations and hands-on exposure to Balance of Plant (BOP) systems
- Strong knowledge of laboratory quality control, ASTM/ISO standards, and laboratory reporting
