Delivery Driver / Kennel Technician Jobs in Atlanta, GA at The Dogyard
We are looking for a new driver for our dog daycare and boarding company. We are a unique kennel that offers pickups and drop off. We pickup dogs Monday-Friday for daycare and Monday- Saturday for boarding. We go house to house get the dogs loaded up in a van and bring them to a farm outside of Atlanta for the day to play and be dogs then bring them back home in the afternoon.
Typical pickup times are 7:45-9:00 and drop off times 2:00-3:30.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with animals, responsible and RELIABLE. You will be interacting with lots of clients and dogs when you pick them up, it is important the driver enjoys what they are doing and wants to build a relationship with the dogs as the same dogs come every week. You will pickup anywhere from 8-15 dogs each morning and drop off the same number in the afternoon. We encourage all driver to bring their pups to work with them as the dogs LOVE coming.
We are looking for someone to start part time and work their way to full time by late May, we do offer free boarding for your dogs during any breaks you go on.

Responsibilities:
– Pickup and deliver dogs from house to house
– Clean and sanitize the van at the farm
– text clients estimated time of arrival
– take pictures of the dogs in the yard as well as monitor them with the kennel technicians
– Assist with bathing of animals at the end of the day
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with animals preferred
– Clean driving record
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
– Physical stamina to perform tasks such as driving for 4 hours a day and monitoring the dogs during daycare playtime
– Excellent communication skills to interact with coworkers, supervisors, and pet owners
Please note that this position does require occasional weekend or holiday work.
