A vacancy currently exists for a Debtors/Orders Clerk
The successful candidate would be responsible for:
- Accurate and timeous processing of debtors’ invoices;
- Generate and check that all delivery notes are signed by driver and customer;
- Filing of invoices;
- Processing customer orders.
- Address and resolve customer queries.
- Liaise with despatch and production departments.
- Assist with production planning.
- Switchboard duties when necessary.
- Assisting with monthly stock take as required.
- Perform relief duties for Credit Controller .
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Financial Manager.
- Adherence to all health and safety rules at all times;
- Commit and comply to the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP,
- 20 Keys, Astral Code of Ethics, and any other company management systems.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 and a relevant bookkeeping qualification would be advantageous;
- A minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar position;
- Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines;
- Work effectively in a team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A high level of personal and professional integrity;
- Ability to multi-skill;
- Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Previous experience in Great Plains will be an advantage;
- Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans.
