Huron Veterinary Hospital is hiring!

Our technicians have skills in the following:
Venipuncture
Cystocentesis
Taking radiographs (including dental)
Perform dental scaling and cleaning
Run in-house diagnostics
Perform restraint on cats and dogs
Fill medications
Assist in surgical monitoring and recovery, IVC placement and intubation
Vaccination
Blood pressure monitoring
Fluid therapy
Anal gland expression
We are a very hands-on hospital and let our techs do what they do best! Some front desk/receptionist duties are required (such as ability to book appointments, check messages, and general client communication).
Experience is highly preferred. While we do not require certification, that is a plus!
Requirements:
Full time 35-40 hours a week (occasional overtime)
Occasional Saturday shifts required (8AM-1PM)
One late shift per week (When clinic closes at 7PM)
Must be able to be on your feet most of the day and lift at least 35 pounds

We are a small, busy three doctor practice in Somerville. We have a tight knit, family-like atmosphere and we like to get to know our clients. We are always striving to improve patient care and customer service. We also work closely with Animal Control and many local rescues to help treat and re-home animals by providing low-cost medical care.
