Private small animal practice looking for a CVT/Vet Assistant. This person would do the following, but not limited to, assisting the doctors in appointments, surgeries and dentals. Set up and read fecals and u/a’s. Get patient history, toe nail trims, anal gland expression, blood draws, set up and assist with x-rays, use laser, monitor vitals during anesthetic procedures, clean the teeth, set up and x-ray teeth, fill or call in prescriptions, write up doctors charts.
We take our jobs seriously, but have fun doing it. We have a great staff and are looking for the person that would be a great addition.
Experience is a big plus. Pay is based on experience.
