This hybrid role plays a crucial part in ensuring exceptional service for our clients and their pets while also managing prescription processing and communication. Key Responsibilities:

Client Care Coordinator Duties:

Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing a welcoming and professional experience
Schedule appointments, handle phone calls, and manage client communications via email and other platforms
Process invoices, collect payments, and maintain accurate medical records
Assist clients during appointments, including equipment demonstrations and behavioral enrichment explanations
Handle administrative tasks such as reminder emails, follow-ups, and triaging client concerns
Maintain a clean and organized reception area, exam rooms, and office space

Veterinary Pharmacy Technician Duties:

Manage prescription processing, including receiving and verifying medication requests
Communicate with clients about medication updates, dosing information, and refill requests
Coordinate prescription approvals with doctors and relay information to pharmacies
Dispense prescribed medications within the clinic and arrange client pick-ups
Maintain pharmacy inventory, ordering, and biannual self-audits
Assist in reviewing patient charts for urgent medication needs

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

Strong written and verbal communication and client service skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Moderate computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, sit for extended periods, and perform other standard clinic duties

Preferred (Not Required):

Veterinary or pharmacy experience
Background in pharmacology
Experience handling behavioral concerns in animals
Ability to convey empathy and compassion to clients
Interest in learning and growing within the veterinary behavior field

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
