Job Description:
Rocky Mountain Kennels Kennel Technician
We are a growing business with an established and loyal customer base. We provide boarding and doggy day care 7 days a week. Our mission is to provide a relaxed and fun outdoor play environment at competitive pricing.
Daily Tasks Include:
Employ good customer service skills to help customers over the phone, give tours to new customers, and promote our growing business
Supervise groups of dogs outside in play yards
Ensure dogs are fed, watered, exercised, and in good health
Clean and sanitize kennel runs and sweep and mop entire facility daily
Perform light grooming; exit baths, brush outs, and nail trims
Notify owner and managers of any issues, and communicate well with other employees
SHIFTS CAN BE 12 HOURS! Must be okay with standing, bending, and walking for long periods of time
Position Requirements:
MUST be reliable and a team player
Minimum 1 year professional animal experience
Minimum 1 year proven customer service experience
Must be a self-starter and self-driven
Must have substantial dog breed, behavior and health knowledge
Must be able to work holidays including Christmas and Thanksgiving! Please do not apply if you are not willing to work a minimum of a 4 hour shift on holidays.
Job Type: Full-Time, 36-42 hours per week; Part-Time 20-25 hours per week
After initial training period, benefits may include: ability to bring dog(s) to work, tips, and other discounts.
Salary: up to $16.00 – $17.00 /hour
