Linwood Animal Clinic is looking for a full-time receptionist to join our 4 doctor practice. Shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 7:45am – 6:30pm. In this position you will utilize superior client service skills to their fullest – delivering the highest quality patient and client care. Candidate should be comfortable with computers, competent with multi-line phone systems, and enjoy working with the public. We are a fast paced facility and place emphasis on communication and team work. We offer generous pet care discounts and more. Core competencies will be tested and background check will be performed.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
1+ years experience in the veterinary field
Experience in a medical facility desired
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
Ability to provide effective customer service principles
Basic knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
Basic written, verbal, and active listening communication skills
Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills
Exercises tact and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive issues and situations
Prioritize work and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, with frequent interruptions
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effectively and quickly responds to requests in a proactive manner
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
