We are currently seeking an enthusiastic cat lover to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and honest Veterinary Receptionist who possesses a positive attitude and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with both clients and their pets in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Greet and assist clients and their pets with a friendly demeanor.
– Handle incoming calls, manage multiple phone lines, and schedule appointments.
– Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive client experience.
– Maintain accurate records and manage the reception area.
– Assist with check-in and check-out processes.
– Support the veterinary team as needed in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in the veterinary field is preferred.
– Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.
– Proficient computer skills, including experience with Avimark software (preferred).
– Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills. – Must be dependable, reliable, and able to adapt to changing situations.
Job Requirements:
– Availability to work weekdays and two Saturdays per month.
– Must be able to work 10-hour shifts.
Compensation: – Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Work Location: This position requires in-person attendance at our Middle Village, NY location. Candidates must be able to relocate to the area before starting work.
