Title: Curriculum & Digital Content Lead

We are looking for someone who understands the national curriculum and who can both produce and review the materials that bring the curriculum to life in classrooms. This person will own the technical backbone of our curriculum work, making sure that teacher training manuals, learning content, and educational videos on the Khan Academy Bangladesh platform all map directly to what students are expected to know at each grade level.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum and Government Systems
- Bring deep working knowledge of the NCTB curriculum across English, Bangla, Mathematics, and Science, including core competencies, learning outcomes, and progression across grade levels
- Navigate government education frameworks and translate official guidance into actionable program decisions
- Stay current on curriculum revisions, assessment reforms, and policy shifts, and flag implications for our training and content work
Educational Content Development
- Write and review educational content for learner-facing use, including scripts, lesson notes, and supporting materials
- Guide the content side of educational video development for the Khan Academy Bangladesh platform, ensuring alignment with NCTB curriculum and grade-level competencies
- Review video scripts, storyboards, and finished videos for curricular accuracy, pedagogical soundness, and grade appropriateness
- Build and maintain content quality rubrics that production teams can apply consistently
Cross Functional
- Review and revise existing training manuals, tightening structure, language, and alignment with grade-level competencies
- Support quality assurance across training cohorts and content batches, including classroom observation visits and content audits
- Ensure quality of classroom practices in schools where teachers have received training, through observation and feedback
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor or Master degree in Education, a relevant subject area, or a closely related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in the relavent field.
- Direct field experience in school-based work, teacher training, curriculum development, or educational content creation in Bangladesh
- Deep knowledge of the NCTB curriculum across multiple subjects and grade levels
- Demonstrated ability to write and review training manuals, facilitator guides, and learner facing content
- Fluency in written and spoken Bangla and English, with strong writing skills in both
Additional Requirment
- A practitioner who has spent real time in classrooms and knows how curriculum plays out in practice
- Someone who can move comfortably across English, Bangla, Mathematics, and Science without losing rigor in any one of them
- A strong writer and a sharp reviewer: equally able to draft a manual from scratch and to improve someone else’s draft
- An eye for content quality: the ability to tell when a lesson, manual, or video genuinely teaches versus when it only looks like it does
- Adaptability when programs shift, deadlines compress, or new requirements come in midway
- Agility in moving between strategic planning, content writing, manual review, training delivery, and video content support
- Proactive ownership: the ability to see what needs doing before being asked, and to follow through without close supervision
