Job Overview:
We are seeking for a Receptionist to join our team at Oregon Trail Veterinary Clinic . The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess excellent communication skills to provide exceptional customer service in a veterinary setting.
Responsibilities:
– Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
– Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
– Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with administrative tasks
– Maintain accurate records of patient information and medical history
– Process payments and handle billing inquiries
– Provide information on services, products, and general pet care to clients
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred
– Proficiency in handling animals safely and with care
– Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
– Familiarity with animal physiology and behavior
– Certification as a Veterinary Assistant is a plus!
– Experience in pet grooming, pet sitting, or equine care is advantageous
– Understanding of veterinary critical care practices
