Vista Vet – Animal Hospital & Pet Lodge is looking for a kennel technician to join our dynamic boarding team. We have a state-of-the art facility located in beautiful Round Rock, TX. The right individual must have:
Applicants must be 18 years or older to work in our kennel.
Experience in Kennel experience or boarding facility is required
Professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent punctuality with reliable transportation
Ability to multi-task and complete assigned tasks
Quick learner with the capacity to work in a group as well as by yourself
Problem solving skills with the ability to follow directions in a timely manner
A willingness to learn and grow within the position
Ability to lift 30 pounds
Duties, Responsibilities, and Technical Skills:
Communicating with clients in a warm and welcoming manner
General cleaning, and hospital maintenance
Provide care and general husbandry for our boarding and hospitalized patients
Bathing, feeding, and monitoring of our patients in boarding
Basic animal restraint
Our kennel technician position does require evenings, weekends, and holidays. We are looking for a full-time position, but would consider the right candidate for part time! We offer a competitive hourly wage with paid vacation after one year of employment.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

What is your desired pay range?
We are open Monday through Friday 7am-7pm, Saturday from 8a-5p, and Sunday from 8a-11a (and our staff does return around 5pm for patient care). Do you have any schedule restrictions or would you be able to work any shift during these hours?
