Forming part of the wider InvoCare Brand, we are the leading provider of pet cremation services in Australia with a national footprint. We proudly partner with both veterinarian practices and their clients to offer pet cremation services to grieving families with our expert teams guiding them every step of the way.
This is a Casual role.
Duties Of a Cremator Operator
Support delivery operations by assisting drivers with the safe unloading of pets
Organise and manage the sorting of delivered pets into designated cool rooms
Expertly manage both private and communal cremations
Accurately mill and prepare ashes with meticulous attention to detail and care
Provide professional and compassionate client greetings at the crematorium for viewings
Collect pets from veterinary clinics and client’s homes, and ensure timely delivery of ashes to designated locations (as required)
About You
Ability to work within a high temperature environment
Technical appreciation of industrial equipment and experience handling power tools
Sound technical / computer appreciation skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work effectively
Exceptional customer service skills, you’re an effective and clear communicator
An ability to handle deceased pets in a professional and compassionate manner
Capable to lift pets of all sizes using safe lifting procedures. Requires ability to lift up to 25kg
Required to hold a current drivers license
