Kijana Kwanza (Young People First) is a non-denominational grassroots project based in Moshi, Tanzania that helps children and young people access education, vocational learning and life skills training to prepare them for a future without poverty. We’re looking for a Creative Marketing & Content Manager to develop and maintain our visual identity, producing high-quality photography, video and graphic design that communicates the impact of our programmes to international donors, supporters and partners, while also capturing the stories, people and culture of Tanzania authentically.
The role is largely donor-facing communications and fundraising media, alongside local communications and service promotion. You’ll also coach and mentor young people interested in graphic design, photography, videography and digital communications.
What you’ll do
â– Design brochures, annual reports, newsletters, posters, banners and promotional materials
â– Produce graphics and multimedia content for social media, fundraising campaigns and donor communications
â– Capture and edit photography and short videos of programmes and events
â– Support funding proposals and donor reports with high-quality visual design
â– Coach and mentor young people, interns and volunteers in creative and digital skills
What we’re looking for
â– Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or equivalent experience
â– At least 3 years experience
■Excellent proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) — shortlisted candidates will complete a short design assessment as part of the process
â– Good photography skills and ability to shoot and edit video
â– Fluency in English and Swahili
â– Based in Tanzania
