Your role in the story

To drive effective Food & Beverage cost control by monitoring consumption, purchasing and stock, ensuring accuracy, profitability and alignment with budget. To provide insights that support smarter decisions and protect the Hotel’s margins.

What your days would look like

No two days look exactly the same, but here’s a good idea of what you’ll be doing:

•Prepare daily & monthly Food and Beverage cost reports.

•Establish stock levels for main store & outlets and carry out monthly spot checks.

•Monitor & report slow moving items from the main stores.

•Participate at month end stock take for main stores and point of sales and stock reconciliation to sales.

•Complete month end closing procedures for inventory system on SCM software and compile stock variances reports to management.

•Prepare month end journal entry for food cost and beverage cost computation.

•Assist the F&B team for costing of menus and special events.

•Monitor sales of items through sales mix for decision making.

•Updating of prices and inserting new menus on billing software.

•Perform invoice control for all invoices processed on the inventory software and reconciliation when migrating to Accounting software.

You might be a great fit if…

•You are organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

•You have strong leadership and communication skills.

•You hold a minimum of a School Certificate and have at least 3 years’ experience in Purchasing and Cost Control.

•You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as SCM and Sun Systems.
