The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), the UN headquarters in Africa, is seeking an International UN Volunteer Specialist to support its Information and Communications Technology Services (ICTS) team. Based in Nairobi, the role focuses on strengthening client relationships, promoting ICT services, driving business engagement, and supporting the delivery of strategic technology solutions across the UN system in East Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients.
- Lead ICT service marketing, outreach, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Identify client needs and translate them into effective ICT solutions.
- Develop, monitor, and report on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze service performance, costs, trends, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Support business analytics, reporting, budgeting, cost recovery, and financial planning activities.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, presentations, and change management initiatives.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on service delivery, product management, and strategic ICT projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, International Relations, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Business Management, Product Management, Customer Relationship Management, IT Service Management, or related areas.
- Strong understanding of ICT products, services, and ITIL-based practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience with business intelligence, dashboards, reporting, and data analytics.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent English required; additional UN languages are an advantage.
