Permitting Coordinator
The Permitting Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the full lifecycle of permit acquisition and compliance for all RaftrX branded entities. This role acts as a central liaison between municipalities, internal teams, homeowners, and contractors to ensure all roofing projects adhere to local, county, and state regulatory requirements. The coordinator maintains accurate records, ensures timely inspections, and provides administrative and operational support for permitting processes across new installations, repairs, and warranty jobs.
Position Summary:
The Permitting Coordinator is responsible for obtaining, managing, closing out permits and ensuring final inspections are completed for roofing projects across multiple jurisdictions. This position ensures compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and regulatory standards by coordinating closely with municipalities, internal departments, subcontractors, and homeowners. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple permitting workflows simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, apply, and expedite permit applications for roofing projects across all branded entities.
- Maintain a comprehensive tracking system for all permit statuses and ensure timely renewals and inspections.
- Act as a primary point of contact between local authorities and project managers regarding permits.
- Coordinate with the necessary people and departments to gather the required documentation.
- Review project plans, scopes, and other documentation to ensure compliance with local permitting and zoning regulations.
- Schedule and confirm final inspections and ensure all inspection requirements are
completed prior to permit expiration.
- Address any expired permits by reapplying or resolving outstanding fees and scheduling follow-up inspections.
- Ensure all regulatory reporting, expense tracking, and license verification is
completed accurately.
- Compile and maintain up-to-date knowledge of municipal code years, permit requirements, and inspection protocols.
