Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and husbandry, with a passion for providing high-quality veterinary services. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, performing surgical procedures, and ensuring the well-being of pets and livestock. The Veterinarian will work closely with pet owners and support staff to deliver exceptional care in a collaborative environment.
Duties
Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions.
Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as necessary.
Perform surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and other necessary operations.
Provide emergency veterinary care as needed, particularly in critical care situations.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and progress.
Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education.
Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid veterinary license to practice in the state.
Strong skills in animal handling and care, including knowledge of animal anatomy.
Experience with animal catheterization and laboratory procedures is preferred.
Familiarity with equine care is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $129,995.00 – $143,313.00 per year
