Community Manager – Member Relations & Operations Jobs in Islamabad, Islāmābād, Pakistan at Kickstart
Title: Community Manager – Member Relations & Operations
Company: Kickstart
Location: Islamabad, Islāmābād, Pakistan
Kickstart is Pakistan largest coworking space operator, on a mission to make it easier for SMEs, startups, and freelancers to do business. We run 18 spaces across Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi — each one built around the people who work there every day.
We are looking for a Community Manager in Islamabad who genuinely enjoys taking care of a space and the people in it. This role is part relationship-builder, part problem-solver, and part operator: you own how the space runs day to day and how members feel while they in it.
Required Background
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Background in hospitality (hotels, restaurants, QSR) is a strong plus.
• Comfortable with everyday tools like Excel/Google Sheets; experience with a CRM or member management platform (e.g. OfficeRnD) is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Urdu, written and spoken.
Key Responsibilities
Member Relations & Engagement
• Act as the primary point of contact for all members, addressing queries, requests, and concerns
promptly and professionally.
• Build genuine, ongoing relationships with members through regular check-ins, floor walks, and
personalized engagement.
• Proactively gather member feedback (conversations, surveys) to understand satisfaction and catch
issues early.
• Ensure a smooth onboarding and offboarding experience, and maintain an accurate, up-to-date member
database.
Collaboration with Sales
• Support prospect/sales tours at the location, ensuring the space is presented well and the visit reflects
Kickstart’s standard.
• Partner with the Sales team to support member retention — flagging at-risk members, sharing on-
ground context and feedback.
• Share member feedback and relationship insights with Sales to support conversions and member retention.
Building & Facility Operations
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the location, including safety, security, cleanliness, and
general upkeep.
• Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to proactively spot and troubleshoot maintenance issues before
they escalate.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations team to resolve facility issues quickly.
• Track consumables, supplies, and location expenses, keeping accurate records for budget and finance
reporting.
Team & Staff Coordination
• Supervise on-ground staff (CEs, FDOs, guards, housekeeping) to ensure service standards are
consistently met.
• Support day-to-day staff performance through feedback, coaching, and enforcement of conduct
standards.
Complaint Handling & Escalation
• Own end-to-end resolution of member complaints — from first response to final closure — with timely
acknowledgment and follow-through.
• Triage complaints by severity, and escalate to the right team or level of management as needed.
• Spot recurring or systemic complaint patterns and flag them to leadership with supporting evidence.
• Handle sensitive or confidential complaints with discretion and fairness.
