Experienced Veterinary Technician needed for our well established Animal Hospitals located in Longwood & Apopka, FL. Are you interested in a positive, happy working environment? Are you compassionate and ready to learn? We may be what you are looking for! We are looking for a long term individual that has at least 2-years experience (preferred). Candidate must have exceptional communication and listening skills, reliable, motivated and a team player. This position requires at least one-year of anesthesia and monitoring, radiolody, surgical prep, and patient recovery. Other duties include Exam rooms, laboratory/pharmacy, dentistry, and client education. Candidate MUST be comfortable with nail trimming, anal gland expression, animal restraint, fecal analysis and assisting doctors. The right individual is: motivated, has a high standard for patient care and truly enjoys their profession. This position is full time which include half-day Saturdays. Requirements:
2 yrs min. experience (preferred)
Good customer service skills
MUST be a team player
Positive attitude
Able to multi-task
Able to handle cats and large breed dogs
Position requires bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 30 pounds, as necessary)
Reliable transportation
Pay:
Salary starts at $14/hr and goes up based on experience and technical skills.
