Job Description
Are you an experienced vet looking for your next leadership challenge, or perhaps a Clinical Director ready for a fresh start in a supportive and forward-thinking environment? This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to lead a well-established practice in Hampshire with a strong reputation for clinical excellence and patient care.
As Clinical Director, you’ll be responsible for guiding the team both clinically and operationally. You’ll help shape the direction of the practice, develop services, support the team’s progression, and ensure a consistently high standard of patient and client care. This role is suited to someone with excellent communication skills, a collaborative leadership style, and a drive to foster a positive and inclusive culture.
You’ll be working a 40-hour week over four days, with a shared 1 in 4 Saturday rota and no out-of-hours commitment. The practice is equipped with a wide range of advanced technology including a brand-new ultrasound machine, digital x-ray, endoscope, bronchoscope, dental suite with dental x-ray, and a full in-house laboratory for biochemistry, haematology, and cytology. The environment is calm and considered, with separate dog and cat wards, and accreditation as a Silver ISFM Cat Friendly and Dogs Trust Dog Friendly Clinic.
Team wellbeing is central to the practice culture. Protected admin time, regular team-building activities, and a no-blame, open culture ensure that everyone feels supported. You’ll be encouraged to pursue your interests and grow professionally, with certificate support available and access to extensive CPD.
This is more than a leadership role—it’s a chance to influence positive change, help a team thrive, and deliver outstanding veterinary care in a warm and collaborative environment.
