PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Uphold the mission of Humane Animal Rescue throughout all responsibilities of the position.
Understand and support the Open Door Philosophy of Humane Animal Rescue.
Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, managers, directors, clients, and stakeholders.
Knowledge of multi-line phone system.
Friendly, professional and courteous manner with customers is essential.
Answer telephone calls for the agency and be able to provide immediate assistance with the customers questions or direct the customer to the proper staff.
Return all phone calls the day in which they are received. Transfer and direct all calls to their correct destination.
Greet and assist customers at the front desk with directions, general information, or any other questions they may have.
Assist customers with their questions, providing the highest level of customer service and accuracy.
Make changes to, and assist other employees with, the operation of the voice mail system.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
General computer knowledge regarding Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Compassion for and ability to be sympathetic to owners and pet caretakers.
Comfortable with basic computer skills.
A compassion for animals and support for the Open Door philosophy.
