Role Description The Clinic Incharge is a full-time hybrid role based in Kathmandu, with primary duties at the clinic and some flexibility for work from home. This role oversees daily clinic operations, including patient flow management, coordination of appointments, and ensuring high-quality customer service at the reception and treatment areas. The Clinic Incharge collaborates with dentists, specialists, and support staff to maintain clinical standards, support adherence to medical protocols, and ensure safety and hygiene practices. The position includes supervising and guiding the clinic team, organizing staff schedules, and supporting staff training and performance reviews. The Clinic Incharge also assists with basic administrative tasks, supports sales of dental services and packages, and helps implement process improvements to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle patient inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive clinic experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of medicine or dental procedures to support coordination with clinical staff and understanding of treatment workflows.
  • Proven team leadership skills, including supervising staff, delegating tasks, and fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment.
  • Basic sales skills to promote clinic services, explain treatment options, and support patient enrollment in recommended care plans.
  • Experience in training or mentoring staff, including onboarding new team members and supporting continuous skill development.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in health care management, dentistry, nursing, or a related field preferred; prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and proficiency in basic computer and clinic management software.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues.
