Full Job Description
Do you love animals and are you GREAT with people? Our new veterinary office at Independence Pet Hospital is looking to add another support member to our reception and customer service team. Typical shift schedule would be as follows :
Monday- 7:45am-6
Tuesday 7:45 am-6 pm
Wednesday Office currently closed
Thursday 7:45 am-6 pm
Friday 7:45 am-5 pm
Saturday (When we are open) 7:45am-12:30pm

Greet clients in a professional and friendly manner
Answer multi-line telephone
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Basic computer skills
Answer client emails
Answer client text messages
Basic knowledge of animal health care
Must work well with animals (dogs and cats)
Must have open availability and willing to work.
Scheduling doctor and surgery and some grooming appointments.
Checking patients in and out.
Balance out cash drawer daily.
Prepping medical charts for the doctor, attaching records.
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Dog handling and animal care skills
Knowledge of veterinary terminology
Ability to handle animal restraint
Proficiency in pet care
