Cleaning & Pet Care Attendant
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented team member to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our pets, clients, and staff.
The main focus of this position is cleaning and maintaining the facility. The position will also involve some basic dog handling and pet care as needed.
Responsibilities
- Disinfect and clean kennels daily
- Clean, wash, and organize pet bedding
- Clean and restock bathrooms
- Clean and maintain the self-wash station
- Wash and dry towels
- Refill disinfectant bottles and other cleaning supplies
- Restock and organize the cleaning station
- Clean and maintain the kitchen area
- Deep clean and maintain the back patio
- Clean and maintain the parking lot
- Take dogs outside for potty breaks when needed
- Provide basic care for dogs when needed
- Safely handle and move dogs throughout the facility
- Operate an industrial vacuum and floor scrubber
- Maintain overall cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility
- Complete additional cleaning tasks as needed
Requirements
- Comfortable working around and handling dogs
- Able to safely take dogs outside for potty breaks
- Comfortable performing hands-on cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Able to operate or learn to operate an industrial vacuum and floor scrubber
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to stay organized and keep up with daily cleaning routines
- Able to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, standing, and cleaning for extended periods
This is a hands-on cleaning position where maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe facility is the primary responsibility.
Pay: From $18.45 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 60.0 per week
