Candidature Details:

Job Title: Chief Finance Officer, Accounts Manager .

Location: Head Office (HO), Borivali.

Department: Accounts & Finance

Education and Qualifications: Must hold a degree in commerce (B. Com) and CA or MBA in Finance

Experience: Minimum 10 yrs.

 

Roles & responsibilities:

General Accounting Procedures:

Oversee the entire general accounting process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (Ind AS).

Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.

Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L accounts.

Review and maintain cash flow forecasts, working capital management, and budget control.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with management reports for senior leadership and board review.

Ensure timely completion of internal audits and liaise with external auditors for statutory audits.

Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and tax regulations, including GST, income tax, and other financial reporting requirements.

Cost Control and Optimization:

Implement and monitor financial controls, policies, and procedures.

Analyse costs and variances, providing recommendations for cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements.

Ensure alignment between accounting operations and broader business objectives by collaborating with operational departments.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure adherence to corporate governance, compliance with internal controls, and mitigation of financial risks.

Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices within the manufacturing industry.

Oversee regulatory filings, tax submissions, and statutory compliances across multiple locations.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in general accounting practices, cost accounting, financial reporting, and taxation.

Strong understanding of ERP systems for accounting and financial reporting.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on financial accuracy.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively across departments and locations.
