Overview:
We are looking for an RVT, to join our hospital. We are looking for someone who is a team player and loves animals. We are committed to working closely with the family members to provide the best care for their pets.
Duties:
– Assist veterinarians in routine examinations and surgical procedures
– Perform animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring behavior
– Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian
– Conduct X-rays and assist with diagnostic imaging procedures
– Handle animal restraint during examinations and treatments
– Perform animal catheterization and assist with dental procedures
– Maintain knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
– Ensure proper use of aseptic techniques in all procedures
– Provide support in veterinary critical care situations
Experience:
– Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or related field preferred
– Proficiency in animal husbandry, pet care, and animal restraint techniques
– Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and animal catheterization
– Familiarity with dental terminology in veterinary medicine
– Certification as a Veterinary Technician.
