Registered Veterinary Technician — Eye Care for Animals, Akron, OH
Full-time: M-F 8am – 5pm | Compensation $23-26/hr | No weekend hours. Some on-call will be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and customer service within the veterinary practice
- Animal handling, pre- and post-operative patient care
- Prepare medications and enter service charges into client processing database
- Extensive client interaction and presenting financial options and estimates
- Assist with anesthesia monitoring and use of various monitoring equipment
Qualifications
- CVT/RVT/LVT certification (CVT/RVT/LVT) REQUIRED
- Previous veterinary technician experience REQUIRED
- Proficient in IV catheter placement, blood work, IV, IM, SQ injections
- Proficient in monitoring anesthesia and related equipment
- Strong team player; eager to learn; self-motivated; able to multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
