Bridgetown Veterinary Emergency and Referral (BVER) is a specialty animal hospital located in Portland, Oregon. Our team includes highly skilled veterinarians specializing in Emergency/Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Ophthalmology, supported by dedicated technicians and support staff.
We are hiring Certified Veterinary Technicians for our overnight ICU team!

Who are we looking for right now?
Bridgetown Veterinary Emergency & Referral is looking for an experienced overnight Certified Veterinary Technician for our ICU department. The position involves three 12-hour overnight shifts, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. A minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required.
Essential Job Functions
Triage and assessment of cases, including alerting DVM of critical patients
Perform diagnostic tests and procedures
Administer medications and treatments as directed by DVM
Provide support and education to pet owners
Maintain accurate medical records
Required Skills
Valid CVT certification in Oregon
Prior experience in emergency or specialty veterinary hospital
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
Confident in life-saving procedures such as CPR, chest taps, urinary deobstruction
Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills; advanced catheter and sampling line placement preferred
Assist and monitor surgical and sedated procedures, including unstable patients; additional anesthesia training will be provided
What BVER offers
Starting at $35+ per hour (based on experience) + $5 differential for 10 p.m.
