We are seeking a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) who is compassionate, skilled, and excited to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative environment.
Position Overview
This role will be primarily surgery-focused, with a strong emphasis on anesthesia, surgical preparation, monitoring, and patient recovery. The technician in this position will play a key role in supporting our surgical service and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
While the position is surgery-centered, technicians are still expected to participate in general technician duties, including assisting with appointments, diagnostics, treatments, and patient care as needed to support the hospital team.
This position is approximately 30-40 hours per week and includes a 1-hour lunch break daily.
Compensation
- $21–$26 per hour (based on experience)
- Clinic-paid Fear Free Certification
- Clinic-paid Feline Friendly Certification
- $250 scrub allowance

Requirements
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT)
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of veterinary nursing
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Proficient with blood draws, IV catheter placement, radiographs, and laboratory procedures
- Strong attention to detail and patient safety
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- Comfortable with technology (our hospital is heavily digital — minimal paper files)
- Fear Free Certified or willing to obtain certification (clinic will cover cost)
- Feline Friendly Certified or willing to obtain certification (clinic will cover cost)
- Comfortable wearing scrubs (scrub-based dress code)
