We are located in the beautiful Chisago Lakes area near lakes, hiking trails, national/state parks, winery, orchard and ski areas. Only 40 minutes from the Twin Cities.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician that will work closely with our Dr’s. Key responsibilities include:
Prep patients & instruments for surgery.
Administer and monitor anesthesia under the direction of the veterinary surgeon.
Place catheters, draw blood, run labs, prepare medications.
Perform routine dental cleanings under the direction of the veterinary surgeon.
Obtain high quality radiographs by positioning patients properly.
Monitor pet vitals/safety during and after surgical procedures.
