Cummings Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Full-Time or Part-time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team!
$2000 Sign on Bonus (for full-time candidates)
Location: 5111 Church Road, Easton PA 18045
Compensation: $20 – $25 based on experience with opportunities for annual bonus
Schedule: We work together to find a schedule that will benefit both of us.
Hospital Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday – 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Skills: We are looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician with a passion for client communication. Responsibilities include conducting technician appointments, triaging patients, offering care and TLC to hospitalized patients, and collecting and processing lab samples.

Responsibilities:
Major duties include:
Providing in-patient medical care, including administering medications, treatments, diagnostics, and monitoring
Handling anesthesia and surgery preparations, maintenance, and recovery
Performing dental care, ultrasonic cleaning, and assisting with dental surgeries
Positioning patients for radiographs and assisting with imaging
Collecting, preparing, and analyzing lab samples
Preparing invoices, discharge instructions, and client education
Communicating with clients about hospitalized patients and providing education
Performing technician appointments and assisting with outpatient procedures
Supporting front desk duties as needed
Training and mentoring new team members
Managing inventory and preparing prescriptions
Qualifications:
Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, endure long periods of standing or sitting, and work in noisy environments with animals and equipment. The candidate must have good hand-eye coordination and dexterity, and be able to work safely around animals and hazards.
