Cedar River Water & Sewer District is now accepting applications for a Temporary, Seasonal Maintenance Worker.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience working outdoors alongside our operations team, while developing a practical understanding of the water and sewer industry. The role involves a variety of routine, physically demanding tasks that support the construction, maintenance, and repair of water and sewer infrastructure. Responsibilities may include the use of hand tools and equipment, assisting with hydrant and meter maintenance, and supporting general field operations.
Additional duties may include operating vegetation management equipment, such as a weed eater, to maintain right‑of‑way areas and ensure District facilities remain accessible and unobstructed.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work, and are comfortable performing physically active tasks in a collaborative team environment.
