About This Role
Creditcrest Capital and Investment—a financial services firm providing micro-loans, SME financing, salary advance loans, asset financing, and solar products—is recruiting a Cashier for its office in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Despite the traditional “Cashier” job title, this full-time microfinance role combines teller operations with credit handling, including evaluating loan applications, assessing creditworthiness, managing loan disbursements, enforcing repayment schedules, and maintaining client records.
Key Responsibilities
- Loan Evaluation & Credit Assessment: Evaluate incoming loan applications, assess clients’ financial profiles, determine credit eligibility, and recommend appropriate credit products.
- Disbursement & Cash Management: Manage loan disbursements, track repayment schedules, and handle cash collection and teller processes.
- Portfolio & Record Management: Maintain accurate client documentation, track loan portfolios, and follow up on overdue repayments.
- Client Financial Advisory: Provide support and financial guidance to micro and SME loan clients while achieving team portfolio growth targets.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven working experience within the Microfinance sector.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of loan origination, credit appraisal, risk mitigation, and cash handling procedures.
- Core Competencies: Proficiency in financial documentation, strong negotiation skills, excellent interpersonal relations, and customer service skills.
