Role Description

We are looking for both Male and Female Caregivers. The Caregiver role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nigeria. The Caregiver will support clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, while promoting dignity and independence. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with meal preparation and feeding, monitoring comfort and safety, providing companionship, and reporting changes in clients’ condition to clinical staff or supervisors. The Caregiver will help with light housekeeping related to client care, follow personalized care plans, and adhere to all agency policies and procedures. This role requires close collaboration with families, other caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and compassionate care.

Qualifications

  • Ability to provide hands-on personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe mobility support.
  • Skills in observing and reporting changes in client health, following care plans, and working under the guidance of nurses and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to Relocate based on clientele received is a bonus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact respectfully with clients, families, and colleagues, and to provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Capacity for basic household support related to client care, including preparing simple meals, maintaining a clean environment, and organizing care-related tasks.
  • Demonstrated reliability, empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Previous experience as a caregiver, nursing assistant, registered nurse or in home health care is highly beneficial
  • Relevant caregiving or healthcare training, certification, or coursework is an advantage; willingness to participate in ongoing training is required
  • Ability to work full time on-site in Nigeria, with flexibility for shifts, weekends, or holidays as client needs require.
