At Dogtopia, we focus on dog enrichment,in daycare, giving them structure, exercise, socialization, and safety. As a Canine Coach, your job is to help dogs live healthier, happier lives while their owners are busy. You will help manage dogs in playgroup, actively making sure they all have The Most Exciting Day Ever! Dogtopia’s Certified Canine Coaches complete a comprehensive training program before they ever run a playroom. Our curriculum is approved for continuing education credits by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) and includes additional coursework developed by Dogtopia’s Canine Behaviorist and owner Nick Losciuto. Coaches learn canine body language, positive reinforcement, and safe play management so they can read each dog’s behavior and respond with the right approach in real time

Position Details
- Role: Canine Coach
- Pay: Starting at $15, no prior dog experience required.
- Schedule: 20 to 35 hours per week
- Employment type: Part-time or full-time

What You Will Do
- Supervise off-leash play in structured, temperament-based playrooms.
- Actively manage group behavior to keep dogs safe and engaged.
- Learn canine body language and intervene before issues escalate.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Assist with basic spa services such as baths and nail trims.
- Communicate clearly with teammates to deliver consistent care.
This is an active job. You will be moving, standing, cleaning, and interacting with dogs for most of your shift.
