Club Canine Cardio, located within Snouts & Stouts, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Canine Coaches to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a unique and innovative dog fitness facility that focuses on structured daycare, exercise, and behavior enhancement.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and Lead Dog Activities:
Conduct various activities such as luring courses, treadmill sessions, agility training, swim sessions, and cardio park playgroups.
Monitor dogs during activities to ensure safety and positive interactions.
Provide individualized attention to each dog, adapting activities based on their needs and energy levels.
Behavioral Training and Support:
Implement balanced training methods to encourage positive behavior changes.
Assist in developing and maintaining training routines for dogs with specific behavioral goals.
Offer guidance to dog owners on maintaining their pets’ fitness and behavior improvements at home.
Care and Well-being:
Oversee the well-being of dogs during their stay, including feeding, rest periods, and socialization.
Ensure all dogs receive proper potty breaks, walks, and rest times throughout the day.
Manage group dynamics by separating dogs based on age, temperament, and activity level.
Communication and Reporting:
Maintain open communication with dog owners, providing updates on their pets’ activities and progress.
Keep detailed records of each dog’s activities, behavior, and any concerns that arise.
Collaborate with the management team to continuously improve our programs and services.
Qualifications:
Experience with Dogs: Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting, such as a daycare, training facility, or shelter, is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Canine Behavior: Understanding of dog behavior and training techniques, with the ability to apply balanced training methods.
Physical Fitness: Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks, including leading outdoor activities and handling dogs of various sizes and energy levels.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both clients and team members.
Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
