Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal handling and training, with a focus on providing exceptional care and guidance to both pets and their owners. Responsibilities
Develop and implement training programs for dogs, focusing on obedience, behavior modification, and socialization.
Provide guidance to pet owners on effective training techniques and responsible pet ownership.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals during training sessions.
Handle dogs of various breeds and temperaments with confidence and care.
Maintain a clean and organized training environment, including kennels and equipment.
Assist in the management of client relationships through effective communication and customer service.
Participate in community outreach events to promote responsible pet ownership and training services.
Experience
Previous experience in dog handling or dog training is highly preferred.
Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and general animal handling practices.
Experience in customer service roles, particularly in pet-related industries such as pet sitting or grooming, is beneficial.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and their pets.
A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare is essential.
